Junior Curtis Conway was was named USC’s most valuable player for the second consecutive season. Conway also was offensive player of the year.
Other awards: defensive player of the year, linebacker Willie McGinest; special teams player of the year, safety Bruce Luizzi; most inspirational player, fullback Mike Mooney.
