Chip Could Pave Way for Pocket PCs: Fujitsu Ltd., a major Japanese computer maker, has succeeded in production of 256-megabit dynamic random access memory (DRAM) chips on a trial basis, the Nihon Keizai newspaper said. The chips, the size of a nickel, can store about 100 still pictures from a TV screen, the paper said. The company will start producing the chips for sale in 1996, the paper said. The chips may pave the way for development of personal computers the size of a pocket calculator, it said.
