HYPHENATED AMERICANS

Share

Perhaps I have missed an important ironic point in Wanda Coleman’s “Between the Lines” (Three on the Town, Nov. 8). By what criteria is Coleman able to identify “Jewish-Americans” and “Arab-Americans,” and just how did she determine the ethnicity of the “officious-looking Armenian-American man”? I wonder if her “African-American” credentials entitle her to label and judge others, who apparently are all in the same leaky lifeboat.
