More from ‘Tonight’: Roseanne Arnold acknowledged on “The Tonight Show” Friday that, in a letter to the TV critic at USA Today, she had used a “very offensive term for gay people.” While not apologizing for it, she said, “I didn’t mean (it) to be applied to all gay people--just this one particular critic.” Arnold said she was retaliating for the personal attacks that she felt the critic had made against her. “I don’t like being called a bimbo, a shrew and a bitch when someone is reviewing my work,” she said. “There are other ways to say you don’t like me--and it’s OK if you don’t.”
