U.S. Troops in Somalia

Tom Bethell (Column Right, Dec. 8) denounces our “noble cause” in getting food to the thousands of starving children in Somalia as something normally espoused by liberals.
Why is it that the same kind of people who are so vehemently vocal in their avowed protection of a human fetus seldom are heard as the champions of the abused children of the world?
Does their great love and rabid protection of the fetus end at its birth?
