Teacher All Wet on Pool

Share

If Adrienne Mack, a teacher at Sylmar High School, had done her homework, she would have easily found out that the swimming pool being built at Cleveland High School in Reseda (“Pool a Waste of School Funds,” Letters to the Editor, Times Valley Edition, Dec. 6) is being constructed and funded by the Los Angeles Department of Parks and Recreation, which will also maintain it, and not the Los Angeles Unified School District as she stated. Students from the surrounding community and the general public will all benefit from this project. It is easy to see where her priorities are.
