California IN BRIEF : SAN JOSE : 2 Pastors Charged With Molestation

Leaders of the largest church in San Jose say they are shocked and disappointed but not yet ready to condemn two pastors at Jubilee Christian Center who were charged with sexually molesting four boys. David Ernest Brimmer, 39, and Pablo Geraldo Boas, 28, both of Milpitas, have been accused of three counts each of “lewd and lascivious conduct upon a child,” according to officials and court records. The victims were between ages 9 and 15 when the alleged sexual molestation occurred. Church officials say that Brimmer and Boas were forced to resign this month. If they are convicted on all three felony counts, each man faces up to 10 years and 8 months in prison, Santa Clara County Deputy Dist. Atty. Victoria Dwinnells said.
