Zenith Insurance Settles Racketeering Case: Woodland Hills-based Zenith Insurance said it settled its Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act suit against Los Angeles lawyer Glen A. Lintner. Zenith said Lintner will pay an undisclosed sum and will conduct all future business with the company following business protocols “designed to eliminate the potential for fraud and abuse in the workers’ compensation system.” The agreement follows related settlements Zenith reached with psychiatrist Byron Crawford, psychologist Barbara Kalb and clinics they control. It accused all of the defendants of participating in a workers’ compensation fraud scheme.
