Dole to Sell Part of Real Estate Operations: Dole Food Co. Inc. said it has registered to sell investors 19% of its home-building subsidiary, Castle & Cooke Homes Inc. Moving ahead with previously announced plans to separate its real estate and food businesses, Dole said it filed paperwork with the SEC proposing an initial public offering of stock. The stake would be in Dole’s home-building and residential development business in Hawaii, Arizona and California.
