Conner Accepts Shares: Conner Peripherals Inc. said Wednesday that it has accepted all shares tendered by shareholders of Archive Corp., a maker of tape drives that back up data on computers.

Conner, a Costa Mesa-based maker of personal computer disk drives, said that by midnight Tuesday shareholders had tendered 13.1 million shares of Archive’s stock. Added to 1.8 million shares already owned by Conner, that amounts to 97.8% of shares outstanding.

Conner agreed to acquire Archive for $11.25 a share.
