Reagan on ‘Army of Conscience’
Reagan fails to remind himself that under his cruel and inhumane Administration his policy was to refuse U.S. help to the charitable organizations that supported medical clinics, which had family planning as part of its programs. Family planning clinics could have given valuable information to the illiterate peoples of Third World countries. The need for these clinics could have provided some help in controlling population growth and we wouldn’t subjected to the many horrible sights we see on TV. I’m not saying that it was the full cause but it was a contributing factor.
No doubt, he and his Administration had a great deal to do with fall of the Evil Empire but at what an expense.
I’m sure that history will give Ronald Reagan his place in the history books, as sorry as that might be.
