Nissan Raises Its Prices: Nissan Motor Corp. U.S.A. will increase the price of its 1993 cars and light trucks by an average 1.1%, or $179, effective Jan. 4. Prices of Nissan’s new Altima sedan are not affected, the U.S. subsidiary of Japan’s No. 2 auto maker said. Nissan’s Infiniti luxury division said it will boost prices on its J30 sedan by an average 1.2%, or $400. Nissan said the price increases reflect “current business and economic factors.”
