Bush Pardons Weinberger

Share

The pardons have shed a final light on the political credo of George Bush, who never really left CIA headquarters when he moved to the Oval Office.

Was it a wonder that such a man would believe in “government in secrecy”? To hell with the courts and legal system.

The incoming Clinton Administration should take notice. We call on Clinton to review the nomination of Rep. Les Aspin as secretary of defense. If he in fact has supported the pardons (Dec. 26), then he has already become a liability.
