‘Let’s Elect Me President’
Regarding the hoopla over Lemp Avenue (“Lemp Avenue Name Change Goes Limping Along,” Times Valley Edition, Dec. 22), we on the other side of the tracks--starting at Burbank Boulevard--knew nothing of a petition.
I take great exception to Tomm Wells, as I have been through the same grammatical errors that so consume his time.
I finally learned as a “Lemperian” that when people say “Limp” or “Lent,” I reply: “LEMP--Let’s Elect Me President.”
Not only do I get a laugh, I get my mail.
