PRO FOOTBALL / NFL PLAYOFF REPORT : NFC : Game Will Be Personal
The Eagles can’t wait for next week’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. The two teams split this season.
“We’re just ready for Dallas,” Eagle running back Heath Sherman said. “It’s a personal thing with Dallas. We don’t like Dallas and they don’t like us. It’s going to be a good game.”

Saint quarterback Bobby Hebert, who, like the rest of his teammates, suffered through a terrible second half (three interceptions, three Eagle scores), answered every postgame question except one: he wouldn’t discuss pickoffs, especially the one he threw to Philadelphia linebacker Seth Joyner in the third period.
“I’m not going to comment on that,” he said. “There are too many things are connected with that, and I’m not going to be negative or positive. I forced the ball, (but there) were certain things that led me to be put in that position.”
In other words, someone else made a mistake.
Wide receiver Eric Martin, the intended target of Hebert’s pass, didn’t seem to accept the explanation.
“Obviously Bobby didn’t see Seth coming from the backside,” he said.
