Michael Krieger has been promoted to director of product marketing, advanced systems for AST Research Inc. in Irvine. In his former position, Krieger saw AST’s Manhattan SMP multiprocessor through all phases of research, development and marketing. Krieger, who joined AST in 1986, previously designed micro-to-mainframe applications software for Techland Business Systems. He also founded Solutions Business Systems in 1980, a New York-based system consulting company.
