Whatever the dynamics of any human relationship, it is presumptuous of Spike Lee to assume that his disapproving glances matter (“I give interracial couples a look. Daggers. They get uncomfortable when they see me on the street.”).

It is also unfortunate that he takes advantage of his celebrity status to spew his ugly hatred.

Relax, Mr. Lee. Interracial couples are neither stepping gingerly around your venom nor seeking your approval.
