LEGAL MUSIC: Jonathan Caron says he’d like to move to Orange County because the music there is legal. He should know. . . . Caron’s job is to make sure that businesses pay for copyrighted music that they play--even on the phone. (L.A. Times Magazine, Page 12) . . . While 65% of his time is spent in Orange County, only 25% of his violations come from there. Why? “It’s a cool place,” Caron says, and businesses follow the law. “People are educated.”
