Dan Jansen and Bonnie Blair each won two races to retain their titles at the National Long Track Sprint speed skating championships at Butte, Mont.

Jansen, the world record-holder in the 500-meter sprint from Greenfield, Wis., won that race in 37.61 seconds and also won the 1,000 in 1:16.28. David Besteman of Madison, Wis., was second in both races, with times of 38.38 in the 500 and 1:16.48 in the 1,000.

Blair, a three-time Olympic gold medal winner and the world record holder in the 500 from Champaign, Ill., won both women’s races. Her times were 40.80 in the 500 and 1:23.51 in the 1,000. Peggy Clasen of St. Paul, Minn., was second in the 500 at :42.10, and Chantal Bailey of Boulder, Colo., was second in the 1,000 at 1:24.22.
