Clinton and Special Interests

In response to “Clinton Will Seek to Bring High Hopes Down to Earth,” news analysis, Dec. 28:
Incredible! First of all he trashes 12 years of great economic progress--3% inflation, 21 million new jobs, etc.--and then because of a recession that bottomed out nationally one year ago, he called for massive change to get elected. Now he says, “Let’s slow down to the way things were” (under George Bush).
Isn’t it great that we can sublimate this in the fact that Clinton is a proven leader in foreign affairs--not.
