Clinton and Special Interests

Share

What has happened to us when entire segments of our society are considered special interest groups? Latinos, blacks and women are far larger parts of the American community than the oil or forest industries, bankers and attorneys. Clinton’s response to the underrepresented parts of America cannot be considered a “vulnerability to pressure from special interests.” Corporations seeking financial benefit for their industry are special interest groups; people who do not now have a voice and are seeking one are termed citizens.
