Family Photo

My compliments and thanks to Axel Koester for his photo “New Year, New Baby” (Jan. 2). Seeing 2-year-old Danny Diaz view his new brother for the first time evokes profound sensations of what is good, true and everlasting about humanity. The photo was a welcome gift to those of us who need reminders that love, joy and caring exist in the world.
