Valley Life Pages a Delight

We have been thoroughly enjoying the Valley Life section of The Times, especially the issue dated Friday, Jan. 1, mentioning numerous Valley places of interest as well as unusual facts about each location.

Our New Year’s resolution is to check out every place mentioned. While we have seen several of the buildings at one time or another, over our years living in Burbank and Van Nuys, we were not actually aware of the interesting details that you refer to in your article.

Prior to the above issue, we followed very closely the articles regarding the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences at Magnolia and Lankershim boulevards. We attended most of the summer evening concerts and took a tour through the beautiful apartments. We are anxious now to attend the Sunday afternoon concerts you mentioned.

I do hope you continue to run such interesting and informative articles in Valley Life. Our Valley is finally booming and we need to be reminded of what we already have here to be proud of and what is planned for the future.

Keep up the good work. Your Valley Life section is loaded with great ideas.
