Monitoring Emissions: KVB/Analect, which makes computer systems that monitor industrial plant emissions, said Tuesday that it has won contracts worth a total of $12 million with four utility companies. The company, based in Irvine, will install its continuous emissions monitoring systems--required by the federal Clean Air Act--at Duke Power Co. in Charlotte, N.C.; Indianapolis Power & Light Co. in Indiana, Tampa Electric in Florida and the Tennessee Valley Authority in Knoxville, Tenn. KVB/Analect is a subsidiary of Air & Water Technologies Corp. in Branchburg, N.J.
