Volcano Eruption in Colombia Kills 6 Scientists

BOGOTA, Colombia —
A volcano erupted in southern Colombia on Thursday, spewing a huge column of ash and killing at least six scientists taking gas samples on its side, the Colombian Red Cross said.
Eight other scientists--three Americans and five Colombians--were injured and 10 were missing.
