Catalina Marketing Moving East: Catalina Marketing Corp., a major provider of electronic promotion services to supermarket chains, will move its 80-member headquarters staff to the East Coast from Anaheim by the end of the year, the company said. Unlike the growing number of businesses that are leaving the Golden State because of California’s perceived anti-business atmosphere, Catalina is moving to be closer to customers and manufacturers, Chief Financial Officer Joseph P. Proctor said. Most of those at the Anaheim office will be offered transfers. About 20 will remain to serve customers in Southern California, Proctor said. The company has not yet selected a location.
