Yugoslavia Reports Second Attack by Bosnia in Two Days
Bosnian Muslim forces reportedly shelled Serb-dominated Yugoslavia again on Monday.
The official Yugoslav news agency Tanjug said Muslim troops in Bosnia fired across the Drina River into Yugoslavia for the second time in two days.
A similar cross-border shelling incident Sunday marked the first time that Yugoslavia has acknowledged intervening in Bosnia’s war since withdrawing its troops seven months ago.
Clashes also grew fiercer between Croats and Muslims in central Bosnia, straining the two sides’ uneasy alliance against Serbian forces.
