Neither A.N. Wilson nor Larry Stammer gets it.
Religion is not a matter of historical certainty nor scientific fact. It is a matter of faith. If one accepts John 3:16:
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son (Jesus Christ), that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”--then all things are possible.
Messrs. Wilson and Stammer can have their pursuit of “facts” and their fun, but they will not sway the faith of one true believer.
And who is to say that those who have this faith are wrong?
By the way, the criticality of faith applies to all religions, not just to Christianity.
