Tainted Meat

Is the tainted meat scandal the product of the Department of Agriculture’s meat inspection program? The past two administrations implemented a “self-inspection” system to save costs, trusting the slaughterhouses and meatpackers to police themselves. Now, we see the results. This is truly having the fox guard the chicken coop.
