IN BRIEF : L.A. Press Club Will Swear In New Officers

The Greater Los Angeles Press Club will hold its annual President’s Installation Dinner to swear in new officers on Thursday at the Sportsmen’s Lodge, 12833 Ventura Blvd., Studio City. The event will begin with cocktails at 6:30 p.m.; dinner will be at 7:30.
KABC-TV reporter Fred Anderson will serve as master of ceremonies, with Joseph Cerrell of Cerrell & Associates as the keynote speaker, and the honorable Sam Yorty serving as installing officer.
Newly elected and re-elected officers for a two-year term include Dusty Brandel, Virginia Depew, Joe Dojcsak, Fernando Del Rio, Don Hanson, Tom Huff, Edward Milder, Ross Olney, Bonnie Rogers, Lloyd Ritter, Gloris Slattery and Richard R. Tyler.
The cost is $25. Persons interested in attending should call Marie at (213) 874-3003 by noon today.
