Emulex Corp.: The Costa Mesa-based maker of computer peripherals and networking equipment reported net income of $2.2 million, or 20 cents a share, for the second quarter of fiscal 1993. That contrasted with a net loss of $5.9 million, or 55 cents a share, for the same period last year, which included a $6.2-million loss from discontinued operations. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 27 was up 29%, to $26.8 million from $20.7 million. For the first half, net income totaled $4.1 million, or 38 cents a share, contrasted with a net loss of $5.3 million, or 49 cents a share, for the first six months of fiscal 1992. Revenue rose 23%, to $53.2 million from $43.4 million.
