Bravo for Trusting in a Suspicious Situation

Re “It’s Scary How Suspicious Minds Can Rob Us of Our Joy” (Jan. 5, Dianne Klein column): How can we not have such thoughts with all we read daily in our papers and hear on TV news. We are being warned to take all measures to protect ourselves. Yet, on reading your column I found myself quietly applauding you for staying with a situation you knew could become a difficult one, seeing it through and discovering first impressions can be wrong.

I’m happy I read your words today, and happier when I realized I would have done exactly what you did--trusting rather than suspecting.
