Balcor Co. has named Robert K. Shibuya president of Tishman West Cos.

Tishman West, based in Los Angeles, is an affiliate of Balcor Property Management Co., a wholly owned subsidiary of Balcor Co.

Shibuya was formerly with New York-based Cushman & Wakefield.
