Clothestime Racks Up Sales: Anaheim-based Clothestime said Thursday that sales for the fiscal year ended Jan. 31 rose by 22% to $315.2 million from $259 million for the like period a year ago. Comparable store sales for the fiscal year rose by 8%.

For the five weeks ended Jan. 30, gross sales increased 54% to $26.5 million from $17.2 million a year earlier. Comparable store sales for the period rose by 12%.

Clothestime said it would report its annual earnings in April.

The chain operates 457 women’s apparel stores in 18 states.
