Gays in Military a Civil Rights, Fairness Issue

Share

Bravo for Dana Parsons! He is representing the issue most fairly and effectively. I am an Army veteran and served between September, 1959, and August, 1961.

During my tour of duty, I served alongside gays, who were closeted but known to their co-workers. They served the Army well--my sergeant-major, who was gay, was a dedicated, decorated, career paratrooper medic. A more able and loyal soldier I have yet to meet.
