Rain continued to fall on the World Alpine Ski Championships in Japan, and organizers were forced to call off two events. It was the second day in a row and fourth in five days that races were postponed.

During the first week of racing in the two-week championships, only one event has been completed, the women’s combined slalom. The men managed to get in the combined downhill on Friday.
