MUSCLE RESISTANT: Local Republicans have some new challengers--and from within the family. A new group, Traditional Republicans United, is putting together a slate of female activists committed to running for public office at all levels against their own party incumbents. . . . “These are women who can’t be muscled around,” says political consultant Eileen Padberg, a co-founder. Among them: Former Superior Court judge Judith Ryan, who ran unsuccessfully against Rep. Robert K. Dornan last June, and Building Industry Assn. director Christine Diemer.
