Sing the old hearts and flowers song, and keep the romance, but change the tune a little.

If preserving tradition is important, buy something--but buy it in red. And don’t be too subtle.

A woman who brings a man a box of chocolates might as well go all out and get the heart-shaped red velvet box with the big bows and cupids. Perhaps your sweetheart craves something stylish. How about a pair of lips-covered boxers or, perhaps, flaming-red high-top sneakers?
