UAL Forms Aircraft-Leasing Unit: UAL Corp., parent of United Airlines, has announced the formation of a subsidiary to lease new and used airplanes that are no longer needed by United. Spokesman Joe Hopkins said the date of the subsidiary’s launch has not been set. He declined to discuss details.
