Microsemi Corp.: The Santa Ana manufacturer of custom semiconductor chips reported that its first-quarter net income declined 16%, to $248,000, or 3 cents a share, from $295,000, or 4 cents a share, for the comparable year-earlier period. Revenue for the quarter ended Jan. 3 was up 56%, to $30.5 million from $19.5 million.
