Tattoo Artist Shows Body of Work With Disney Characters
Jim Jones has dedicated his body to Walt Disney, covering himself with 57 Disney characters--from Mickey Mouse and Pluto to Roger Rabbit and the Little Mermaid.
“I’m a Disney freak,” admitted Jones, a bearded 326-pound tattoo artist. “This is my personal tribute to Walt.”
The entertainment corporation, however, is not exactly singing Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah about the offhand tribute.
The company strictly enforces its copyright and fights any unauthorized reproductions of its characters, a spokesman said.
“If they (the tattoos) are already on his body, we would probably just ask him to desist from doing it any more,” Disney spokesman Charles Ridgway said.
“This is my way of being a fan,” said Jones. “I want to take this to the grave.”
