Rooney, Miller to Get Dance Awards

The Professional Dancers Society will present 1993 Gypsy Awards to veteran musical stars Mickey Rooney and Ann Miller at its seventh annual awards luncheon Sunday at the Century Plaza. Donald O’Connor, the group’s new president, will preside.

Proceeds from the event will go toward a goal of establishing a retirement home for professional dancers, and also provide a relief program for dancers in immediate need.
