Jet in Florida Blows 2 Tires During Emergency Landing

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla. —
A Delta jetliner carrying 182 passengers blew out two tires as it made an emergency landing at a South Florida airport Tuesday, closing the airport for several hours.
Delta flight 1086 had just left Ft. Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport en route to Atlanta when the pilot radioed that he had lost power in the right engine and was returning. There were no serious injuries, officials said.
