Libya to Move Embassies to Kadafi’s Hometown
TUNIS, Tunisia —
Libya has told foreign embassies it plans to move them from Tripoli to leader Moammar Kadafi’s birthplace on the Gulf of Sirte, diplomats in the Libyan capital said Friday.
The diplomats said the government had not yet set a date for the move to Ras Lanuf, Kadafi’s birthplace 370 miles east of Tripoli.
