Phaostron Names Yates to Vice President Post

Phaostron Instrument and Electronic Co. of Azusa, a manufacturer of aviation instrumentation, has appointed Don Yates vice president. Yates will be responsible for the marketing and sales operation of the company.

Phaostron manufactures commercial and military avionic instrumentation, illuminated panels, and measurement and control devices. Its products are used in various commercial and military airplanes, helicopters, ships, and tanks.

The company is a subsidiary of Texas-based Sterling Electronics Corp., an electronics supplier serving the telecommunications, computer, medical instrumentation, process control and military hardware industries.
