Key Trade Practices Laws Passed: China’s top lawmakers have approved the country’s first product quality and trademark laws in an effort to bring Chinese trade practices more in line with international standards, the official China Daily reported. Following eight days of debate, the Standing Committee of China’s National People’s Congress, or Parliament, approved the two new laws, the newspaper said.
