Genisco Reports First-Quarter Loss

Genisco Technology Corp. said it lost $147,000, or 1 cent a share, for its first fiscal quarter. That contrasted with a profit of $1.1 million, or 27 cents a share, for the same period a year earlier, when the computer company had a gain of $1.4 million for debt forgiveness. Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $4.1 million, down 21% from $5.2 million for the same period a year earlier.
