Investment Firm Buys 5.4% Stake in Datametrics

A well-known Boston investment firm has purchased a 5.4% stake in Datametrics Corp., a Chatsworth maker of printers, plotters and other computer equipment for the aerospace, airline and other industrial markets.

Datametrics said that Fidelity Management and Research of Boston revealed in a Securities and Exchange Commission filing that it purchased the 257,300 shares of Datametrics common stock for its Fidelity Low-Priced Stock Fund.
