Mayoral Candidates
I am outraged that The Times (Metro, Feb. 17) ran a front-page photograph to announce that mayoral candidate Nick Patsaouras is about to purchase advertising on TV and radio, while quietly mentioning on Page 3 the history-making endorsement and support of mayoral candidate Linda Griego by EMILY’s List.
Until now, EMILY’s List has only endorsed candidates for national office, but because Griego’s candidacy in this race is considered viable, EMILY’s List broke its policy and endorsed her candidacy for mayor.
