ITC Upholds Duties on Imported Steel: The International Trade Commission voted 6-0 to uphold duties on imported steel products from Brazil, France, Germany and the United Kingdom. The decision upholds a Jan. 20 Commerce Department ruling that assessed anti-dumping and countervailing duties against the imports. The Commerce Department had found that U.S. steelmakers were injured by subsidized imports of leaded and bismuth steel bar and rod products. The anti-dumping duties range from 38.5% against imports from the United Kingdom to 167% for imports from Brazil.
